Welcome to the website of Fenelon Lab, our research program focuses on better understanding the neural elements and circuits underlying sensory information filtering. Our overall goal is to provide a better understanding of the physiological dysfunction in patients suffering from sensory information filtering and identify potential targets for therapeutic interventions.

DR. KARINE FENELON

PhD

Dr. Fenelon knew she wanted to be a scientist at an early age, and she is still excited by this decision today.  

Her laboratory has attracted and supported various students, including those from underrepresented groups.

She is excited and proud of the progress of all her trainees. She hopes that their research efforts will have positive repercussions on national and international health issues and disparities.


As an Assistant professor in Neuroscience, she will continue to train undergraduate and graduate students from underrepresented groups, and will facilitate their career development through various opportunities.
